Project Description:
The project team will conduct a transportation analysis for the SW Hall Boulevard/Highway 99W Intersection Improvement Project in Tigard, Oregon (a suburban community immediately southwest of Portland). Highway 99W is a statewide highway under the jurisdiction of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and serves as a major commuter route for numerous communities in the southwest metro region as well as a regional route between Portland and the central Oregon coast. SW Hall Boulevard is a north-south arterial that connects the communities of Beaverton, Tigard, and Durham. The transportation study will include analyzing existing conditions and projected 2025 traffic conditions to identify existing issues and deficiencies and develop recommended improvement concepts to meet future transportation needs. In addition to the SW Hall Boulevard/Highway 99W intersection, the scope of the traffic analysis will include the adjacent intersections immediately east and west on Highway 99W to consider potential influences from these two signalized intersections. The project team will develop a conceptual design plan for the recommended improvements.
