What is an Aqueous fuel?
An Aqueous fuel is any fuel, such as gasoline, diesel or alcohol, mixed
with up to a 50% concentration of water.
Why use an Aqueous fuel?
By introducing a certain amount of water vapor into the combustion mixture
you can lower the combustion temperature of the mixture. This effectively
reduces the thermal formation of NOx gases, one of the major contributor
to ground level ozone. Also since the water's mass absorbs some of the
thermal energy of the combustion process, less work is required of the
cooling system, meaning greater power and fuel economy.

How do you burn a mixture of alcohol and
water?
Mark Cherry, of Automotive Resources, Inc., has invented
and developed what is known as a "Catalytic Plasma Torch", or CPT,
otherwise known as a SmartPlug.
Essentially,
any internal combustion engine, with spark or compression ignition, can be
run with smartplugs.
