The Engineering Design EXPO showcases our senior engineering capstone projects, and is the Northwest’s longest- running, interdisciplinary initiative featuring student innovations.
The National Academy of Engineering has recognized our capstone program as one of the best in the nation, an honor that is a testament to the hard work and talents of our faculty, staff, students and industry partners.
With over 20 years of launching engineering graduates into successful careers it’s no wonder the EXPO is the College of Engineering’s most anticipated event of the year.
The college welcomes industry partners, alumni, future engineers (elementary through high school students), and community members to come to the day-long event to learn about the exciting new research and designs developed by students at the College of Engineering.
All EXPO events are free and open to the public and take place at the Bruce Pitman Center (formerly the Student Union Building), 709 Deakin Ave., Moscow, Idaho. (Get Directions)
The 22nd annual Engineering Design EXPO is presented by the Micron Foundation and is made possible with the help of generous academic and industry sponsors, including Avista, Boeing, BP Alaska, the Center for Advanced Energy Studies, Engineering Outreach at the University of Idaho, Hewlett-Packard, Idaho National Laboratory, Itron, Lochsa Engineering, Power Engineers, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and Wagstaff.
