About EOC
Thinking about going back to school, upgrading your skills or completing a post-secondary degree? The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) can help you form realistic career goals and identify programs to match your needs. We can assist with program advising, GED and college applications, financial aid, testing, course selection, and more. We are here to make further education attainable for you, and because we are funded by a federal grant, all of our services are free.
The EOC is just one of a family of federally funded TRiO programs designed to provide educational opportunities to underserved U.S. citizens. Our primary participants are those individuals who have a limited income and come from a family whose parents have not completed a four-year college degree.
The primary goal of the EOC is to increase the number of adult (19+) individuals enrolled in post-secondary educational institutions. In many instances, the EOC may serve individuals under 19 years of age or those who have not yet received their high school diploma or GED certificate. There’s a good chance we can serve you!
