Participation means an opportunity to receive academic assistance, financial support, college and career exposure, mentoring, and college admissions and financial aid assistance. Participants are challenged and rewarded academically and socially through a rigorous college preparatory program as well as cultural experiences and travel.
Academic year and optional summer programs provide participants with access to a wide variety of higher education options. Although supported by the University of Idaho, Bridge Idaho assists students in enrolling in the college best suited to their individual interests and needs. We’ve helped students enroll at Baylor, Vassar, Hawaii, Washington, Idaho and many others.
Nearly 95% of our students enroll in higher education and 88% are staying in college. Throughout Idaho, less than half of all students who graduate high school go on to college and of those, only 40% graduate college in 6 years. Bridge Idaho participants are not only prepared to be successful, they are motivated and supported to become leaders on their campus.
