Helen Brown began her career as a public health nutritionist and has worked at the local, Tribal, county and state level to promote public health, particularly in areas of maternal and child health and community development and wellness. Since coming to the University of Idaho, Brown has taught, researched and worked at the community level to increase healthy active living in communities through active travel, nutrition, and health promotion.
