Healthy active living is foundational to our undergraduate programs in dance

All of our undergraduate students begin their educational journey in our Core Curriculum, where they learn a multidisciplinary approach for inspiring and educating others to adopt healthy active lifestyles using principles of economics, environmental and economic sustainability. Then, they move into their majors and develop specific skills and knowledge to become leaders in their respective professions and adopt a team-based approach to healthy active communities. At the graduate level, our students can choose to study recreation

, where they work side by side with faculty to impact the health of our society through research and community engagement.
