About The Program

Your experience in the PETE program will take you further than simply preparing for a career in teaching physical education. We take a holistic approach to produce physical activity specialists, encompassing not only student wellness education, but for staff and faculty as well. Leadership skills are a strong component of our curriculum, and we prepare you for entering a competitive job market. Our graduates not only get hired, but we have graduates earning positions above starting level straight out of college.
