The Department of Movement Sciences is housed in two historic buildings on the Moscow campus. The main office is located in the Physical Education Building (PEB), which houses two full-size gymnasiums, two dance studios, men's and women's locker rooms, and the only squash court on campus. It is also home to state-of-the art instructional and research facilities: the Physical Activity Pedagogy Laboratory and the Human Performance Research Laboratory.

The Memorial Gymnasium, located north of the Swim Center on Rayburn Street, is the oldest athletic building on campus, and home to our recreation program and instructional laboratories for Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and First Aid & CPR. Construction was completed in 1928. Housing a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, men’s and women's student/faculty/staff locker rooms and various offices, it also is the site for a war memorial honoring servicemen killed in World War I. In 1970, the building was placed on the National Register of historic buildings. For more information about these facilities and programs they serve, please click on the following.
We also offer courses in the ASUI Kibbie Dome, the Swim Center, the Student Recreation Center, and various outdoor facilities across campus (tennis courts, Guy Wicks Field, Kibbie Sprint Turf, Dan O'Brien Track & Field). For more information about these facilities, click on the links below:
