About Leadership and Counseling

The University of Idaho’s College of Education Department of Leadership and Counseling encompasses five outstanding graduate programs that continue to grow and produce outstanding leaders, in higher education as well as in business organizations. Graduates become superintendents, principals and higher education administrators. Doctoral graduates are prepared for specialized positions in education and to provide administrative leadership. Most graduates are hired in public school district offices, universities and private institutions and companies. Instruction may be live in Boise or Coeur d’Alene, online or web-assisted to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. Program enrollment is open and students can begin with any course and take up to 12 credits before degree program admission.
