Kris has been in education for 18 years, having taught grades K-6, served as a mathematics instructional coach and elementary assistant administrator. She has been a professional developer for the past ten years in Mathematics Education working with teachers and administrators at the district, regional and state level to improve instructional practices and student achievement.

Kris currently teaches methods courses for pre-service teachers in Coeur d’Alene, provides support in field experiences and works with local schools to enhance partnerships for the purposes of increased professional development for all.

She is currently completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Idaho.
