Boise has very reseanobly priced houses with many options of places to live, from close in to downton, to further out with land and room for horses.

The city of Boise has approxiamtely 180,000 inhabitants, with the extended metro area (including Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian) containing around 450,000 people.

The Northend of Boise is one of the favorite places to live (mostly for liberals).  It is a historic district and has a wide variety of housing architectures.  It is close to downtown, the IWC, and the foothills.
