AAPIA - The Asian-American/Pacific Island Association is an organization devoted to further education of all students about Asian culture. AIBL- American Indian Business Leaders is a national organization designed to create a support system for American Indian students interested in working in business, starting their own business, or assisting with tribal economic development efforts. AISES - American Indian Science & Engineering Society is a national professional organization that is represented at colleges nationwide. The mission of the AISES is to promote Native Americans/Alaskan Natives into the science, engineering and technology fields. The national organization is open to all students and includes many opportunities for scholarship, internship, regional conference and college chapter representation. ALI Association of Latin Americans and Iberians is an organization devoted to cultivate and promote the Latin American and Iberian culture and language to all the students and community at the University of Idaho and Moscow. - Brotherhood Empowerment Against Rape is a movement committed to leading, educating, and enlightening men in order to define their roles in our society. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. - is a Latina founded service sorority that works as a support system for all women at the University of Idaho. Gamma Alpha Omega is the first Latina sorority in Idaho. Their main objectives are to support the Hispanic/Latino communities as well as youth. The members of Gamma Alpha Omega have a strong sisterhood and strive to uphold the values of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship and Unity. Gamma Alpha Omega is open to women of all origins. GSA - The mission of the Gay and Straight Alliance is to promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all people. The GSA strives to encourage individual growth and understanding by improving visibility and providing support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals as well as their straight allies. M.E.Ch.A - (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Aztlan) A politically active group formed from students with many cultural backgrounds. This student group's purpose is the advancement of human rights for the community through different events and activities. OELA - Organización de Estudiantes Latino Americanos is dedicated to the recruitment and retention of Latino Students. OELA is involved in many event/activities such as Jazz Festival, Cinco de Mayo, Saturday of Service, Vandal Challenge, Hispanic Heritage Month events and more! Phi Beta Sigma - the Alpha Alpha Zeta chapter was established in 1991 and continues to work for the ideals of brotherhood, scholarship and service. Phi Beta Sigma was the first African American Fraternity at the University of Idaho. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1914 on the campus of Howard University. Sabor de la Raza - is a Mexican folklórico dance group formed by UI students and community members. Sabor members promote the Mexican culture through the performance of traditional dances while having the best of times. Sigma Lambda Beta - The University of Idaho colony was established on May 31, 2003. They are the first Latino Founded Fraternity in the State of the Idaho. Sigma Lambda Beta is based on cultural understanding and wisdom. They believe in the principles of fairness, opportunity and in the equality of all men no matter their race, culture, or ethnicity. SODA - Sexual Orientation Diversity Alliance is an organization open to all students who are interested in extending civil rights to all Americans. SODA serves as a support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) law students, in addition to law students who have family and friends in the GLBT community. Our main goals are to (1) educate our school and our community about GLBT issues and (2) to participate in legal issues that affect the GLBT community in Idaho. Furthermore, we provide information and networking occasions to GLBT law students in order to increase educational and career opportunities. UIBSU - Formerly known as Recognizing African America Concerns in Education (RAACE), the newly formed University of Idaho Black Student Union (UIBSU) addresses the the interests and concerns of black students who are primarily from countries in the Western hemisphere (North, South and Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean).  Its mission is to: promote the academic and professional advancement of its members, create a social environment where black students can engage in critical dialogue on issues that affect them, promote Pan-Africanism by working with other groups representing the diaspora, and promote cultural awareness and diversity by working with others genuinely committed to developing partnerships through peaceful dialogue and mutual cooperation.

WOCA -The Women of Color Alliance strives to unite Women of Color in a strong, common bond so that women can change destructive racial disharmony by actively leading our families and society in honoring our powerful cultural diversity and responding to humanity’s call for love, respect, compassion and service. We invite all women and men who are interested in becoming a member.

WCC- Women’s Community Coalition will serve as a support system and mentoring program for all women in the UI campus community. The coalition advocates for safety, equity, and diversity on campus. The coalition sponsors programs and activities that heighten awareness of issues pertaining to women. The WCC invites participation from all students, faculty and staff.
