CAMP
The University of Idaho
College Assistance Migrant Program (UI CAMP). UI CAMP is a special program at the University of Idaho that assists students who meet the definition of Migrant/Seasonal farm workers or children of migrant farm workers. The program provides support for qualifying students during the first year of their enrollment in higher education.
Important Definitions:
- Migrant Farm Worker: A seasonal farm worker whose employment requires travel which keeps the farm worker from returning to a permanent home within the same day.
- Seasonal Farm Worker: A person whose primary employment is farm work on a temporary or seasonal basis.
- Farm Work: Agricultural activity related to the production of crops, dairy products, poultry, livestock, tree harvesting, or fish farming.
