Don't Cancel Your Class

Attending a conference? Family obligation? Don't cancel your class. Instructors can schedule a QPR suicide prevention presentation for their students. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer. It is an evidenced-based, 1-hour training program to help faculty, staff and students respond to someone in a mental health crisis and thinking about suicide.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide
  • Offer hope
  • Get help and save a life

Even if you don't need to cancel your class, you are always welcome to request a presentation anytime during the semester.
