Short Term Emergency Loan

The Student Loan Office, in cooperation with the UI Foundation offers many loan programs to current University of Idaho students and spouses. 

The University offers emergency loans for extenuating circumstances that affect our students ability to continue their education regardless of traditional financial need calculations The student's Financial Aid Advisor is ultimately responsible for making authorization determinations on these loans. All emergency loans carry a 7% APR interest, compounded daily. Repayment terms are payment-in-full within 90 days of receipt. Please consult your Financial Aid Advisor for full details; all Financial Aid Advisors are located in the Financial Aid Office located in the Student Union Building.
