March 19 Student Sessions

Session 1: Careers that Make a Difference  
Representatives from a waste management firm and a public wastewater treatment agency will discuss sustainability challenges facing communities and private businesses. They’ll also talk about careers with employers whose practices are both environmentally sustainable and cost effective. Hint: it’s not just for science majors!

Students and others from UIdaho, NIC, and CSI will share success stories about campus and community sustainability projects in a high-energy, fast-paced Ignite format (5 minutes, 20 slides).
