Earth Fest consists of 16 days of events and volunteer opportunities throughout the month of April to help raise awareness about climate change and sustainability issues. Check out the events below!

Brought to you by The Sustainable Environment Commision. This film follows the origin of a meal prepared by renowned chefs. It traces not only where the ingredients are coming from, but also stresses the impact on local life. The food on our plate tells a bigger story than we initially knew.

Join us for the newest exhibit at the Third Street Gallery titled Larry Ellingson. This exhibit begins April 19, 2013 runs through May 24, 2013. The gallery opening reception will be April 19, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Larry Ellingson exhibit features lost and found sculpture art. Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 East Third Street Moscow, ID. Gallery hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Get Rooted is replanting the Palouse prairie with native trees, shrubs, and ground cover. We will teach the importance of native tree planting and demonstrate the proper tree planting procedures. Then it's time to get DIRTY! Get Rooted is a fun and interactive way to spend part of your day.

Come check out our "green car show" and get your bike fixed with the local bike shops. Live music, bike tune ups, car show and more. UISC grant recipient Ryan McGrath will be conducting a survey and any participating students can get a free pedometer or lanyard and be entered to win one of three iPods or a bike!
