Regalia for Moscow Graduates
Online ordering closed on April 7. Moscow ceremony students may contact the Office of Alumni at 208-885-6154 or email about buying regalia the week of May 6-10.

Eligible honor students pick up an honor cord by Friday, May 10 at the Office of the Registrar during regular business hours.

Graduation products are available through the Office of Alumni.
Faculty Regalia

GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY

Students must apply to graduate and receive confirmation from their advisor or major professor that they are an eligible degree candidate.  Students who want to participate in commencement, but will complete their degree requirements in a later semester must receive permission from their advisor or major professor and dean's office with a Commencement Walk-Through Request form.

Saturday, May 11
9:30 a.m. | ASUI Kibbie Activity Center
Lineup begins at 8:15 a.m.


Degree candidates will LINE UP dressed in full regalia at 8:15 am along University Avenue near the Administration Lawn.  College banners will be posted around the lawn area.  Bachelor's candidates line up with their college while candidates receiving graduate degrees line up as a group with the College of Graduate Studies.  Local bagpipe group, Border Highlanders Pipes and Drums, will lineup in front of the platform party, faculty, and candidates.

Around 9:00 am, the bagpipes will begin and lead the PROCESSION down University Avenue to the Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center, where candidates and faculty will proceed to their seats.  For many graduates, this will be a memorable last walk through campus as they begin the next chapter of their lives.  With the historic Administration Building and lush lawn area close by, this is a perfect opportunity to photograph your special graduate.

After arrival of the procession into the Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center, the CEREMONY will begin promptly at 9:30 am.  Graduate and baccalaureate degrees will then be conferred.  The ceremony will last approximately 2 1/2 hours.

TICKETS are not required for the event.  General admission seating is first-come, first-served; refer to the seating map for details. Reserved seating is SOLD OUT for spring 2013.  Concessions will be open, no alcohol or outside food allowed.

PARKING may be reached by following Stadium Drive to the parking lot on the west end of the Kibbie Center.

Degree candidates or guests with disabilities may request assistance or more information.

Guests unable to visit Moscow may watch the ceremony live online.

Immediately following the ceremony, colleges will host a CELEBRATION RECEPTION for graduates, guests, faculty, and staff.  Light refreshments and photo opportunities will be available.  Graduate-level candidates and their guests may attend the celebration event according to their field of study.
