Thesis and Dissertation Resources

Are you daunted by your dissertation? Struggling with a project proposal? Need a refresher course on properly citing sources? The Writing Center now has a dedicated consultant for graduate students who need help or support with these or any other writing issues.

Graduate students: Bring your questions about writing theses, dissertations, and other manuscripts to the University of Idaho Writing Center!

Graduate Writing Consultant Amy Whitcomb is available to help you through the writing process, from comprehensive issues such as focus and organization to stylistic concerns of grammar and citation. Graduate students of all backgrounds and disciplines are welcome.

Consultation sessions are collaborative in nature and intended to help you build writing skills and confidence. You have the opportunity to meet in person to discuss your writing and to receive an annotated copy of your draft with recommendations for revision. Feel free to stop by Idaho Commons 326 during office hours or email at any time for more information about the services offered.
