ERA Portal will help streamline research management
The Research Office has provided a Web browser-based electronic portal to increase the efficiencies of faculty and staff involved in finding and managing sponsored research activities.
Faculty and staff can utilize the ERA portal to manage their creative and scholarly activities including collaborating with other individuals within and outside of the university.
The portal is currently powered by the InfoOffice suite licensed from InfoEd International. InfoOffice is an integrated suite of tools for:
- Managing curriculum vitaes, bio-sketches and other personal information
- Finding potential collaborators and funding opportunities
- Electronic funding proposal development and processing within the institution
- Electronic submission of proposals where available
- Posting awards and management of grants to ensure compliance with funding-entity requirements
- Management of patents and licenses for technologies that result from institutional research activities
University of Idaho employees may contact Sarah Koerber at (208) 885-5357 to have an account created and receive training on how to use the InfoOffice SPINPlus system.
