Required Undergraduate Coursework
Will I have additional "deficiency" courses to take if I don't have a background in environmental science?
All students must meet basic undergraduate requirements to be prepared for this degree. These are:
one course in chemistry or physics
one course in physical geography or geology
one course in two of the following areas: biology, ecology, botany, zoology, microbiology
one course in two of the following areas: economics, political science, law, sociology, history, human geography
One course in statistics
One course in mathematics (pre-calculus or higher)
One course in scientific or technical writing.
You may be asked to provide catalog copies of the course descriptions of these. If you are deficient in some of the courses necessary for preparation for this degree, you will need to make these courses part of your study plan and complete them before you graduate.
