Advising
For undergraduates, meeting regularly with the EnvS Program Advisor, Chris Dixon, is essential to your academic success. Advising will help you select appropriate courses to meet university and EnvS requirements, put together schedules that fit your needs, and stay on track to graduate.
Registration occurs in November for spring semester, and in April for fall semester. One month prior to registration you should receive an email reminder from Chris to set up an advising appointment so the two of you can review your schedule for the following semester.
Graduate students will work with one of three advisors:
EnvS and WR students - Chris Dixon,
cdixon@uidaho.edu
EnvS graduate students at a distance - Alecia Hoene,
hoene@uidaho.edu
Professional Science Masters students - Jackie Maximillian,
psm@uidaho.edu
Graduate students should work with their advisor to develop a graduate study plan and track their progress through the program.
To set up an appointment with your advisor, contact the program office between 8-5, M-F at (208) 885-6113.
