Exceptional or emergency circumstances that do not allow you to attend the TA Institute must be petitioned to the College of Graduate Studies.
International Teaching Assistants
In addition to the training session on Wednesday, August 22 at 8:00 am and the two day session on Thursday and Friday for all new TA's, International TAs who will have primary instruction responsibilities for a class or lab will be required to register for a one-credit, pass/fail course called INTR 508: Teaching and Learning Strategies for International Teaching Assistants (crn 36559).
The course will be delivered through BbLearn as well as the following in-person class times from 6-9 pm in TLC 222:
October 3 and 24
