Taylor Wilderness Research Station

The Taylor Wilderness Research Station is one of the premier research and monitoring field stations in the United States. Surrounded by 4-million-plus acres of wilderness, the station provides outstanding access, facilities, and logistical support for research on natural environments and processes.

As a College of Natural Resources student, you’ll have the opportunity to participate and get involved in Taylor activities in a number of ways, including: class field trips, our summer wilderness internship program, visiting professional workshops, enrichment courses and undergraduate and graduate research projects.
