The
Idaho Stable Isotopes Laboratory (ISIL), located in the Department of Forest Resources, is another example of a successful large-scale research facility and collaborative effort happening on campus. With multidisciplinary support, this group provides stable isotopic analyses to departments and colleges across the university for student and faculty research. With these efforts, active research is taking place in the areas of:
- Tree physiology
- Nutritional food-web studies
- Other biogeochemical studies that are shaping important discoveries
