Analysis Rates

We provide precise and accurate data from the stable isotopic analyses of plant and animal tissue for δ13C and δ15N at natural abundance or low levels of enrichment. We also provide δ18O and δD analyses of water and solid samples, and δ13C of CO2 gas samples.

To submit samples, please contact Idaho Stable Isotopes Laboratory to make scheduling arrangements and receive instructions. For certain solid materials, special considerations must be made prior to weighing in order to select the appropriate amount. If you do choose to pack your own for the EA or TC/EA, please use a 96-well cell plate and record sample ID and weights (3-decimal places in mg). Also, for all submissions, please complete the ISIL Sample Submission form and email it to mward@uidaho.edu.
