The University of Idaho's McCall Field Campus is a residential education and conference facility located on the shore of Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho. Owned and operated by the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources, the McCall Field Campus is an ideal location for groups wishing to host conferences, meetings, courses and community events in a relaxed, natural setting with well-equipped facilities, professional hospitality, and an excellent food service. Our campus offers bunkhouses, cabins and yurts for groups in a scenic, unique and rustic retreat setting. From August through May, we typically can accommodate 112 people. In June and July, we typically can accommodate 148 people.
The cozy main lodge, complete with beamed ceiling, stone fireplace and a view of the lake, seats up to 60 people for meals. The classroom is centrally located on the campus and provides a view of the lake. It accommodates groups up to 60 people. Two meeting yurts are available and can accommodate groups up to 30. An outdoor meeting area is available for warm, sunny days. There is also a large amphitheater area complete with lake view and fire pit. Please bring your own meeting supplies right down to tape, scissors, pencils, dry erase markers, flip chart paper, etc. When the main office is open (no regular weekend hours), you can purchase copies -- $0.10 a black and white copy and $0.25 a color copy.
The 14-acre campus features 600 feet of lakefront beach. Ponderosa State Park borders MOSS and offers splendid hiking, Nordic skiing, mountain biking, nature trails, boat ramps, trailer hook-ups, a wide variety of evening interpretive programs and more. Access to Payette National Forest is just a short drive from MOSS up Lick Creek Road or Warren Wagon Road.
