"The CNR House experience is/was one of the best features of the CNR College. Whether it is after dinner ultimate Frisbee or a weekend camping getaway ... there is always something to do with people who care about the great outdoors as much as you."

—Brian Gautreau, B.S. Forest Resources, 2004

Current Students

How do you sum up a College of Natural Resources (CNR) student? Two words: active and engaged. Inside the classroom and in the field, our students are making a difference, and when they have free time, they are busy volunteering for organizations like the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, hiking, camping or fishing in Idaho’s nearby backcountry, or just enjoying all that the University of Idaho has to offer.

The CNR House is just one example of the sense of community and pride shared by students in our programs. By living with fellow CNR students in this modern residence hall, you'll find it easy to get involved in campus and recreational activities — and you just may make friendships that last a lifetime!
