“I was first attracted to the University of Idaho by the campus and city of Moscow. What a great setting to continue my education. Plus, there was never a dull moment as I got involved with professional clubs and organizations, intramural sports and ventured out to the abundant forests, lakes and rivers within a short drive of campus. I was set on obtaining a degree in fisheries and first strolled into the associate dean’s office. He gave a warm welcome, and over the next four years, I received the same from all the staff at the College of Natural Resources. I confess that some visits to Dr. Ken Cain’s office that should have taken less than five minutes led to half an hour talking about fishing, kayaking and sometimes course work. From secretaries to department heads, the faculty and staff at CNR have a great drive to see their students succeed. I am very satisfied with the education I received and am proud to wear my Idaho ball cap.
