Visitor Satisfaction Surveys
Survey cards are distributed each year to visitors at Bureau of Land Management sites in 13 states. The project measures visitor satisfaction with site facilities, services, and recreational opportunities, to assist agencies in complying with the Government Performance and Results Act. Commercial Services Program
The Commercial Services Program is a study of visitor satisfaction with concessioner services - retail, dining, lodging, guide services, and marinas – provided in units of the National Park System. Download 2012 Commercial Services Data Reports.
The Visitor Services Project online database contains data from over 300 park studies, including visitor demographics, activities, spending, recreation preferences, perceptions of crowding, satisfaction with services, opinions of park management, and more. Access the raw data (in SAS, SPS, and txt), a database of all questions in PSU survey questionnaires and each study’s reports.
