Biography

Description of Service:
  • Served from December 2003 to August 2004 on CGC Acushnet in Alaska; enforcing U.S. Fishing Laws, Search and Rescue Assistance, and Environmental Protection.
  • Served from March 2005 to June 2006 on CGC Polar Star in Seattle. Deployed to Antarctica to assist a Russian Icebreaker with McMurdo Station Resupply.
  • Served from June 2006 to July 2008 on CGC Polar Sea in Seattle. Deployed to Antarctica for the McMurdo Station Resupply and two deployments into the Arctic Ocean. Intervened in a Sea Shepherd / Japanese Whaling Vessel Conflict and rescued passengers from a sinking Catamaran in Maui.
