Terrie Jain featured on NBCLatino
CNR Alumni, Theresa “Terrie” Jain, was recently featured on NBCLatino for her work with forests and fire. Jain, currently a research forester at the Rocky Mountain Research Station, received three degrees from U-Idaho: a BS degree in Forest Resources in 1983, a MS in Forest Resources in 1994, and a Ph.D. in 2001.
Jain is nationally recognized as a leader in silviculture and fire science, particularly in the field of fuels management. She received a Forester of the Year award from the Inland Empire Society of American Foresters and a national award for outstanding contributions in the field of silviculture from the U.S. Forest Service. She received a CNR Alumni Achievement Award in April 2010.
