McCall Idaho Payette Lake day camp

Adventure Day Camps

MOSS is a place where you can learn, play and have fun. Come along with us to explore the wonderful world of nature just outside our door. Let your imagination be the guide as you help create your own outdoor adventure. Our field campus inside Ponderosa State Park on the shores of stunning Payette Lake is the perfect location for kids to be kids in a safe, fun, adventure filled environment.

Age Groups

  • Explorers (ages 3-5) will have an opportunity to spend the morning outside having fun. Whether making nature art, identifying water bugs, splashing on the stream simulation table, or hiking for huckleberries, these explorers will enjoy building friendships, and developing a sense of place in the outdoors.
  • Investigators (ages 6-9) will have the whole day to learn about science happening all around them. Canoeing to test water quality, identifying trees and animals on a hike, and using science tools to test a hypothesis are only the beginning of building science identity while having awesome adventures with friends.
