Summer Field Science Expeditions
What better way to spend a summer week than canoing Payette Lake, rafting the mighty Salmon River, or backpacking the Northern Rockies? Mix in some field science, making new friends, and awesome graduate student field instructors and you have the perfect recipe for a MOSS Summer Field Science Expedition. These programs are designed for motivated 7th-12th grade students interested in science and the great Idaho outdoors. You will work alongside university faculty researchers to better understand water resources in a changing climate while sharpening your analytical and critical thinking skills as you design your own science inquiry project. Programs are available for organized youth groups or individuals. Choose from the female focused Women Outdoors with Science
program or the very spatial Get Into Science (GIS)
