Master of Science in Natural Resources | Environmental Education Emphasis
The Master of Science program at the McCall Outdoor Science School includes the entire 11-month graduate level certificate program plus one additional semester at the University of Idaho Moscow campus. In just 16 months, you can earn both a certificate in environmental education and a MS in Natural Resources.
Certificate courses include:
- Community Ecology for Environmental Educators (3 cr.)
- Field Science Teaching (2 cr.)
- Place-based Environmental Education (3 cr.)
- Leadership for Environmental Educators (2 cr.)
- Conservation Leadership (3 cr.)
- Ecological Inquiry (2 cr.)
- Environmental Education Teaching Practicum I, II, III (2 cr. ea.)
Plus one additional semester on the Moscow campus including:
- Theories of Environmental Behavior (3 cr.)
- Natural Resource Policy (3 cr.)
- Non-thesis project capstone studio (3 cr.)
