Got Impact?

Funding agencies are placing increasing emphasis on activities that bring science to a broader audience, but these can be logistically difficult to plan and may be outside your area of expertise.

The McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) can help.

MOSS is a program of the University of Idaho. The school and its partners foster scientific literacy, enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue through graduate and professional education, youth science programs, seminars, conferences, and leadership development initiatives. Founded in 2001, MOSS is the only publicly operated K-12 residential outdoor school in the state of Idaho. Every year, we prepare 16 to 20 talented graduate students in science, communication, teaching and leadership who work with more than 2,500 K-12 students and over 100 teachers.

How can YOU work with MOSS?

You can...

  • Become a Program Partner
  • Participate as a Visiting Scientist
  • Host a Field Course

If you are interested in having MOSS help broaden the impact of your scholarship, please contact Greg Fizzell to explore the possibilities.
