Accreditation

Our Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources – accredited by the Society of American Foresters for 75-plus years – is also one of the most respected and oldest programs offered with the College of Natural Resources. In fact, it was the first degree program that was offered in the college. The first class graduated in 1910. With a distinguished accreditation, our graduates are distinguished and immediately eligible for forestry positions in federal, state, and private natural resource and land management agencies.
