Range Club
The Range Club is a student section of the Society for Range Management (SRM), a professional international society dedicated to rangeland stewardship. The award-winning University of Idaho chapter will give you an opportunity to enjoy fun events like dutch-oven cookouts, highway cleanups and the annual Barn Dance. Members also have the unique opportunity to fly into the center of the Frank Church Wilderness to winterize Taylor Wilderness Research Station. Club members participate in workshops, seminars and field days that provide professional development and networking opportunities with professionals in the rangeland field.

The student chapter of The Wildlife Society participates in activities to connect with working professionals and promote wildlife issues. Our students have earned top marks at the annual Western Division Wildlife Student Conclave Wildlife Quiz Bowl. Participate in social gatherings, films, fund-raisers, and field trips.

Logger Sports Club
Why throw a ball when you can throw an axe? Release your inner lumberjack and compete in traditional logging activities like log rolling, pole climbing, crosscut sawing, chopping, chainsaw events, and axe throwing. Our coed team practices locally and travels throughout the northwest to claim conclave trophies.

Society of American Foresters (SAF)
University of Idaho students who are a part of the Society of American Foresters (SAF) meet professionals in their field, learn forestry skills and attend national conventions.
