Students pursuing a B.S. degree in Fire Ecology and Management
must receive a grade of C or better in the following courses to register for upper-division courses in the fire core (FOR 426, 427, 450, 451 and REM 459) and to graduate:
- Math 143 - Pre-Calculus Algebra and Analytical Geometry
- Stat 251 - Principles of Statistics
- REM 244 - Wildland Fire Management
- FOR/REM 221 - Ecology
- FOR 274 or REM 357 - Forest Measurements & Inventory or Rangeland and Riparian Habitat Assessment
To complete the B.S. Degree in Fire Ecology and Management students must complete all required coursework listed below as well as at least 18 credits in the general core requirements which equal at least 128 credit hours of coursework. Students must also have at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA.
