Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the wildlife science program within the College of Natural Resources! If you’re like us, you are an advocate for the environment and you’re driven to make new discoveries and uncover best practices for sustaining and protecting wildlife resources.

As part of the wildlife science family at the University of Idaho, you’ll have the unique opportunity to study among some of the brightest minds in the world of natural resources. Rooted soundly in the study of wildlife biology and ecology, as a student you’ll also gain critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as in-depth perspectives on effective, results-driven management practices.

You’ll also benefit from the tight integration between each of our programs within the College of Natural Resources. We believe this multi-dimensional approach to our curriculum will give you a distinct advantage, allowing you to better understand the interconnectedness between all natural resource disciplines as well as related fields such as land planning and public policy development.
