The American Fisheries Society
The American Fisheries Society is an active organization that keeps members on the pulse of the industry. The University of Idaho American Fisheries Society Chapter is also open to all students who are dedicated to advancing fisheries and aquatic science.

National Association of State Aquaculture Coordinators (NASAC)
The National Association of State Aquaculture Coordinators is an affiliate of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA).

The NASAC promotes and encourages the development of aquaculture in the United States by enhancing communication among federal, state, local, and tribal governmental agencies. The organization also supports agricultural research and extension institutions as well as trade and marketing organizations. Contact NASAC to learn more about how you can get involved.
