the Conservation Science option offers students a flexible, general conservation degree. Our students combine knowledge of human behavior, conservation planning, conservation biology, protected area management, restoration ecology, and master the science that underlies these systems.
As a student in the Natural Resource Conservation program, you’ll benefit from the integration between each of our programs within the College of Natural Resources. We believe that shared goals and resources between our programs give you a more comprehensive understanding of the world around us. You’ll also be empowered to collaborate and build relationships with others who are dedicated to excellence in environmental and natural resource management.
With a CNR degree in Natural Resource Conservation, you may:
- Work for government agencies, private business or nonprofit organizations
- Influence human behavior to achieve a broad array of environmental goals
- Explore the environmental issues facing the world today
- Educate others about environmental sustainability
