Admissions, Registration and Costs
Students working towards this certificate program must be admitted to the University of Idaho as either a non-degree-seeking student or as a natural resources graduate student. Prior to taking the Restoration Ecology Certificate 500-level courses, students must have completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 or receive permission from the College of Graduate Studies. All students must meet the prerequisites specified in each course, or receive special permission by the course instructor. If you are missing a required general ecology class, we suggest enrolling in Ecology online.
Once you’ve been accepted, inform the College of Natural Resources Dean’s office at (208) 885-8981 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. We will fill out the necessary paperwork to move you into a certificate program. Lynaire Banks, the Restoration Ecology Certificate advisor, will help you register and get started.
Out-of-state tuition fees are waived for this program; however, additional fees may apply as specified by the program director.
