About the Celebration

September 11 - 13, 2009 | Moscow, Idaho
The forestry and natural resources programs at the University of Idaho continue to provide students with both an interdisciplinary education and an opportunity to emphasize areas of individual interest, such as such as ecology, social sciences, geospatial sciences, water resources, policy and planning, wildland restoration, conservation genetics, fire, silviculture, forest operations, integrated rangeland management, fisheries and wildlife ecology and management, parks and protected areas, environmental communication, aquaculture, wood use and biomaterials, and other specialties.

Help us celebrate our University of Idaho natural resources programs. Like the seedlings that grow into forests, our forestry education program began 100 years ago when C.H. Shattuck arrived in Moscow and fostered the inspiration that has today grown into the College of Natural Resources. Join us and University of Idaho Alum Forest Service Chief Emeritus Dale Bosworth as we look ahead to forestry and natural resources in the 21st century.
