Woods
UI professor of Animal and Veterinary Science
Dr. Woods is the team leader for Project Idaho, and director of
the Northwest Equine Reproduction Laboratory on the UI
campus. Dr. Woods is an Idaho native and graduated from UI. He
studied
at Colorado State University to become
a veterinarian, then studied some more at the University of Wisconsin
and the University of Pennsylvania. |

Dirk Vanderwall
UI professor of Animal and Veterinary Science
Dr. Vanderwall serves as the team’s horse health expert.
He teaches at the University of Idaho and works for the Northwest
Equine
Reproduction Laboratory. He received his DVM from Cornell
University and his Ph.D. from the University of Idaho. |

Kenneth
White
Utah State professor of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences
Dr. White was the team’s cloning expert. He moved the mule
DNA to the horse egg. He is director of the Center for Development
and Molecular Biology at Utah State University. |
