The Department of Sociology & Anthropology
The University of Idaho's Department of Sociology & Anthropology offers the following degrees: Sociology (B.S., B.A.), with an emphasis in either Inequalities and Globalization, Criminology, or General Sociology, and Anthropology (B.S., B.A., M.A.).
The department also offers a minor in American Indian Studies, an Archaeological Technician Academic certificate, a certificate in Diversity and Stratification, and a Professional Ethics Academic certificate.
Our faculty members take an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to studying the social world and pride themselves on the quality of courses, instruction, and advising. The entire department demonstrates a high level of commitment to students and the overall program.
