The University of Idaho will host thousands of visitors for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival Feb. 24-27, 2016. Due to the high amount of vehicular traffic and pedestrians on campus, some streets and parking lots will have restrictions during the festival. Read more

Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival Seeks Volunteers for 2016 Festival

The Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival is recruiting volunteers for the 49th annual festival, Feb. 24-27, 2016. Each year about 400 volunteers fill over 700 shifts help to make the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival possible. Volunteers help manage student performance sites, transport artists and assist with general setup. Volunteers have the opportunity to earn free evening concert tickets: Every four hours of work is equal to one evening concert ticket of the volunteers’ choice. Volunteer registration is open to community members, students, faculty and staff. Read more
