The Department of Political Science offers graduate programs leading to the master's in political science, the doctorate in political science, and the Master of Public Administration (MPA). The master's and doctorate programs are generally geared for students interested in careers in secondary and higher education as teachers of political science. The MPA program offers a general management degree and is oriented to students interested in careers in local and community governance. All three programs require application to the graduate school, three letters of reference, the GRE, TOEFL (where appropriate), and transcripts for admission.
