2014 Key Fund Recipients

Administartion Building clocktower during winterThe College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the 2014 Key Fund recipients:

Gary Williams - Student Kateline Anderson
Julia Ward Howe research in Boston. Funds student travel to the archival records of Julia Ward Howe housed in the Houghton and Schlesinger Libraries at Harvard University.

Adam Sowards - Student (TBA)
Funds student time to work on paper on history of US Forestry response to Blister Rust Control.

Dale Graden - Student Dakota Willet
Funds student travel to the John Kennedy Library in Boston to review the Ernest Hemingway Collection for materials related to Spain and Hemingway’s political activism.

Jan Johnson - Student Shane Brown
Funds student travel to American Indigenous Research Association Conference in Pablo Montana. Project will assist the AIST program develop curriculum and help student have an experience engaging with Indigenous research philosophies and methods.


The Key Fund is designed to encourage collaboration between CLASS faculty and students on scholarly or creative projects, which may include articles or books, conferences, performances, productions, workshops, travel, and professional development experiences.
